Maaru has been specialized in sports bike rentals and have also cafe space and provide you some drinks.We are located 10 minutes walk from Obuse station,30-40minutes form Nagano or Yudanaka Station by train.
Cycling is fun and the easiest way of getting around in Nagano area(Obuse,Suzaka,Takayama,Iiyama etc…). Do like the locals and rent a bike to discover Nagano.

“This shop is at the perfect location for a one-day bicycle trip to snowmonkey park (Jigokudani Yaen Kōen). Contact was easy fast and in english. We got two hybrid bikes in perfect condition. The ride to snowmonkey park took us about 1,5-2h at an easy pace slightly uphill.
We highly recommend this place if you want to take a one day cycling trip near Nagano. You get there by local train, it’s about 10 minutes walk from Obuse station.
The owner is very nice and speaks very good english.

How to rent

1、Booking

Please fill in the booking request form below or send us an e-mail and let us know your information such as your name,height,the type of bike,the date of arrival and return,and any extras.

You can hire a bike without booking if a bike is available.

2、Visit the shop

Please visit us 20-30 minutes before the time you want to start riding.

3、Reception

Our staff confirm your booking(bike rental plan). You write an application and pay before rinding.
Credit Cards accepted.

4、Rental and Go cycling~!

We will adjust your bike and explain to you how to operate the bike.

5、Return

Please return your bike to shop.

*RENTAL CONDITIONS

• passport or ID / DL is needed
• Please bring sunglasses and gloves if you have.
• If you would like to cancel your booking,please let us as soon as possible.
• Agree to pay for the expenses when any repairs occured(incl flat tire).
• In case of break down,Please stop cyclying and contact us.
• No refund when returing a bike before return date and time.
